This 16 month long part-time extension program (typically run over two academic years) is a unique opportunity to extend your professional diploma, professional certificate or practice-based experience to a BA (Hons) degree level while carrying on your professional activities.
The reason it has been developed as an extension program taken over a relatively short period of time is that it allows experienced and/or accredited real estate professionals up to 2/3s (two thirds) credit towards the BA (Hons) degree.
These days, it is impractical for busy professionals and executives to leave the workplace for long periods of time in order to pursue higher level qualifications. For that reason, we have provided the opportunity to combine degree level study with your day-to-day work through our exciting BA (Hons) Professional Practice program.
This means that you can convert your work-based knowledge, including the improvements and innovations you are making to your organisation, into a degree. Our BA (Hons) Professional Practice program is an innovative opportunity for you to design your study around your work commitments. This way, you benefit from enhanced qualifications, while your organisation benefits from more robust intellectual approaches being applied to the work. In essence, it is a win-win situation.
Although study is in the workplace rather than a university classroom, you are not alone. We have a highly qualified and talented team of professionals with relevant industry experience; they are leaders in their fields and can guide you through to successful completion.
We work with some remarkable students. These are people who have enormously challenging jobs, but who see the long term need to elevate their credentials. We also know that one size doesn’t fit all, and that is why we work flexibly with you to achieve your goals.
If you have previously thought about doing a degree, a Professional Practice program could be the work-based opportunity you have been looking for but never knew was available.
