The National Real Estate Association (NREA) was formed to build the professional standing of real estate professionals within the community and to build educational pathways for its members through ‘work based learning’ that is through professional practice.

The key objectives of the NREA are to:

  1. Provide the recognition of a real estate practitioner’s training credentials via membership grading (Member, Associate Fellow & Fellow).
  2. Provide an avenue for the recognition of ongoing professional development and activities via membership upgrade and/or the CPR (Certified Practising Realtor) program.
  3. Enable practitioners within the real estate industry to have a voice in the complicated network associated with this critical business sector.

The emphasis is on practitioners as NREA’s vision is of a professional association such as the CPAs (Certified Practising Accountants) which has now over 150,000 members across 121 countries.
